Job Summary

Plarium is seeking a User Experience Researcher to join their research department. The role involves conducting customer research for product and marketing teams, analyzing player behavior through qualitative methodologies like playtests and interviews, and translating findings into actionable UX insights. The researcher will present reports to internal clients and management, work with various internal stakeholders, and develop new research methodologies.

Must Have

  • Conduct, collect and analyze players’ behavior through different qualitative research methodologies, such as: playtests, in-depth interviews, focus groups, diaries, etc.
  • Understand players’ pain points and needs by user research, then turn it into actionable insights and offer the right UX solutions.
  • Present the findings in English to the internal client + all levels of management and deliver a structured report.
  • Work with a wide range of internal clients.
  • Create new research methodologies.
  • 2+ years of experience in creating, performing and analyzing qualitative studies in the industry (not only academic experience).
  • Academic background (at least BA or equivalent).
  • Understanding the mobile gaming market from a player perspective.
  • Background in UX design / user centered designed process / game design courses.
  • Ability to create independent research.
  • Very high English level.
  • Experience with Excel and Google Sheets.

Good to Have

  • Design questionnaires and perform statistical analysis of surveys independently.
  • Experience in Gaming companies.

Job Description

Plarium is one of the leading providers of social games over Facebook and mobile networks. The research department is responsible for the analysis of players research, competitive offering and market trends. As an User Experience Researcher, the new team member will perform customer research mainly for product and marketing departments. The User Experience Researcher will present the findings to the internal customer and deliver a structured report.

Responsibilities
