Job Description
- Optimizing performance of distributed systems to meet strict service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Designing and developing scalable, secure, and highly available software solutions
- Automating and operationalizing service updates and deployments
- Monitoring system health with innovative tools and metrics
- Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to deliver impactful features
- A university degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a combination of education and relevant experience
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven ability to enhance system performance and meet demanding service-level objectives
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS), infrastructure as code (Terraform), and Python development
- Proficiency in Java
- Familiarity with real-time APIs and event-driven architectures
- Experience with AWS observability tools such as CloudWatch Metrics and X-Ray
- Ability to design and build systems using AWS
- Knowledge of Database technologies, especially DynamoDB

Exciting Opportunity: Senior Software Developer (Enterprise Analytics Platform)
Join a high-impact team at the forefront of real-time payment innovation. As a Senior Software Developer on our Enterprise Analytics Platform team, you’ll help shape the future of financial technology by building ultra-fast, reliable, and scalable systems. Your work will directly support our mission to deliver sub-500 millisecond response times for real-time payment APIs - critical infrastructure for modern financial institutions.
In this role, you’ll tackle complex engineering challenges, optimize distributed systems for peak performance, and collaborate with talented peers across engineering and product teams. You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with emerging technologies, contribute to cloud-native architecture, and drive meaningful improvements in system resiliency and speed.
What You'll Do:
- Optimizing performance of distributed systems to meet strict service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Exploring and keeping up to date with new technologies in AWS, Terraform, Java, Python, and cloud architecture
- Designing and developing scalable, secure, and highly available software solutions
- Automating and operationalizing service updates and deployments
- Monitoring system health with innovative tools and metrics
- Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to deliver impactful features
What We're Looking For:
- A university degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a combination of education and relevant experience
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven ability ito enhance system performance and meet demanding service-level objectives
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS), infrastructure as code (Terraform), and Python development
- Proficiency in Java

- Producing clean, re-deployable Terraform module code
- Implementing robust observability and monitoring practices, ensuring system reliability and performance
- Consistently iterating on coding practices for continuous improvement
