Visual Effects Supervisor

Location: London, UK (Hybrid – Office presence strongly preferred)
Type: Full-Time

About Us

Since 2014, we’ve been bringing imagination to life through world-class technology and extraordinary talent. As a global studio spanning Scanning, Mocap, VFX and Animation, our employees are part of shaping what’s next.

The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Visual Effects Supervisor to lead high-end VFX productions across film, episodic, and immersive projects. This senior creative role offers the opportunity to shape ambitious visuals while ensuring technical excellence and efficient workflows. As a key member of the project leadership team, you will collaborate with producers, directors, and internal leads to deliver complex, VFX-heavy shows that meet both creative and logistical goals.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the creative and technical execution of VFX projects, ensuring quality, consistency, and feasibility throughout production.

  • Act as a key stakeholder in the studio’s creative leadership - participating in strategic discussions around workflows, tool development, and long-term planning.

  • Collaborate with Executive Producers, Producers, and Directors from the earliest stages -helping shape creative ambition, bid scope, and production planning.

  • Work closely with the CG Supervisor, Art Director, and Discipline Leads to develop efficient workflows and find smart technical solutions.

  • Translate the director's vision into actionable guidance for artists, while also ensuring project goals stay aligned with time and budget constraints.

  • Mentor other supervisors and artists, contribute to a positive team culture, and help strengthen consistency and “best practices” across projects.

  • Provide clear, structured feedback and maintain open communication channels with both internal teams and external clients.

  • Support project management alongside producers, ensuring schedules and resource planning reflect realistic and achievable targets.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a VFX Supervisor or senior creative lead on complex VFX projects.

  • Experience working closely with clients, directors, and internal leadership teams.

  • Deep technical knowledge of VFX pipelines and workflows, from bidding to final delivery.

  • A strong eye for visual storytelling, composition, lighting, and animation timing.

  • Experience in breaking down scripts, creating bids, and accurately forecasting costs and schedules.

  • The ability to guide teams through challenges—with a pragmatic, solution-focused mindset.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
