The Vice President, Media & Social role involves leading and scaling Xsolla's global media presence across video, social platforms, webinars, and podcasts. The role involves developing and executing a content strategy, managing a multidisciplinary team, and overseeing content production, from executive interviews to social media campaigns. The VP will collaborate with PR, Marketing, and executive leadership to ensure consistent messaging. Responsibilities include leading media strategy, content production, podcast and webinar development, social media oversight, creative innovation, analytics and optimization, and cross-functional partnerships.
Must have:
  • 10-15+ years of media/content experience, with 5+ in leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead creative/media teams in gaming/tech industries.
  • Deep understanding of digital video, podcast production, and social media.
Good to have:
  • Strong editorial sensibility and creative instincts.
  • Executive-level communication skills.
  • Passion for games and game culture is a plus.

We’re hiring a Vice President, Media & Social to lead and scale our global media presence across video, social platforms, webinars, and podcasts. This executive-level role is responsible for developing and executing a high-impact content strategy that strengthens Xsolla’s brand, amplifies key messages, and engages audiences across digital channels.

You’ll manage a multidisciplinary team and oversee the production of everything from executive interviews and product explainers to podcast episodes and social-first content campaigns. You’ll also serve as a strategic partner to PR, Marketing, and executive leadership—ensuring consistent messaging and creative excellence in every asset we share with the world.

Responsibilities

    • Lead Media Strategy: Own the global strategy for all video, podcast, webinar, and social media efforts—ensuring alignment with company goals, brand positioning, and audience needs.
    • Content Production: Oversee the creation of high-quality, on-brand media including sizzle reels, behind-the-scenes videos, product showcases, developer interviews, and thought leadership assets.
    • Podcast & Webinar Development: Design and execute Xsolla-branded series that establish the company as a thought leader and resource hub for developers, publishers, and partners.
    • Social Media Oversight: Direct the strategy and execution of content across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms. Ensure consistency in tone, timing, and community engagement.
    • Creative Innovation: Explore new formats and distribution channels to keep Xsolla’s media presence modern, experimental, and relevant to gaming and tech audiences.
    • Analytics & Optimization: Use performance metrics to guide iteration and growth. Regularly assess campaign impact and identify opportunities to scale.
    • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with PR, Product Marketing, Business Development, and Executive Communications to ensure cohesive storytelling across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

    • 10–15+ years of experience in media, digital content, or brand storytelling, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
    • Proven ability to lead high-performing creative or media teams, ideally within the gaming, tech, or entertainment industries.
    • Deep understanding of digital video, podcast production, and social media platforms.
    • Strong editorial sensibility and creative instincts, with a track record of developing engaging and impactful content.
    • Executive-level communication skills and experience partnering with C-suite leaders.
    • Highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global organization.
    • Passion for games and game culture is a major plus.
$300,000 - $300,000 a year
