Job Description:

We're seeking an accomplished, visionary, and strategic Vice President of FP&A to join Pluralsight’s leadership team. As the VP of FP&A, you'll drive best-in-class financial planning, robust forecasting, and scalable analytical infrastructure across the enterprise. You’ll be responsible for shaping the company’s financial strategy through rigorous analysis, leading complex financial initiatives, and providing insightful perspectives to the Board of Directors, investors, and executive stakeholders. What you’ll do:

• Drive Value Creation: Be a key player in identifying and executing strategies that unlock new levels of financial performance.

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement cutting-edge daily, monthly, and quarterly cash forecasting models, providing critical insights that guide our board's decisions.

• Market Acumen: Keep our business strategies agile and relevant, adapting to evolving market dynamics and aligning the goals of diverse business units for long-term success.

• Data-Driven Problem Solving: Transform complex data into actionable solutions, identifying key linkages and interdependencies in our business processes to solve intricate problems.

• Financial Intelligence: Interpret and apply key financial indicators to make superior business decisions, gaining a deep understanding of organizational performance.

• Budgeting & Forecasting Excellence: Oversee the comprehensive budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with strategic objectives.

• Performance Reporting: Develop and deliver insightful financial performance reports to executive leadership and the Board, highlighting key trends, variances, and actionable recommendations.

Experience you’ll bring:

• Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in senior FP&A leadership roles, partnering directly with officers, executives, and boards in a high-growth technology environment.

• Deep Expertise: A profound understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical methodologies.

• Team Builder: A solid track record of building, leading, and inspiring high-performing FP&A teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Executive Influence: Demonstrated success in cultivating and managing C-level relationships, effectively communicating complex financial information.

• Strategic Partner: Expertise in consulting on financial planning and strategy development.

• Exceptional Communication: Masterful executive-level communication and presentation skills in all settings.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 12 years of related or equivalent experience in FP&A, or 10+ years with an advanced degree.

• Prior experience in a SaaS environment is preferred.

• Experience working in a private equity environment is essential.
