Video Editor

We’re looking to hire a Video Editor for a fully remote opportunity with our client, a leading broadcast television and radio network. This is a 6-month+ contract role, with preference for candidates who can work Eastern Time hours.

In this role, you will join the Creative Team to assemble recorded footage, apply on-screen graphics and visual elements, and deliver polished video content across a variety of digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging video content for web, social media, podcasts, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with Producers, Marketers, and Designers to ensure visual consistency and script clarity.
• Add music, sound effects, graphics, text overlays, and transitions.
• Color correct, grade, and optimize footage for different channels and resolutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Video Editor.
• Portfolio or Reel is required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Blender.
• Experience with social media video format platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
• Experience working in a broadcast or digital news/current events program.
