At We Are Social Madrid, we are looking for a Video Editor with previous experience in creating audiovisual content for social media.

What will your day-to-day be like?

• Editing and assembling pieces for social networks; although it will not be the core of your work, you will also do small animations.
• Adapting content between different platforms so that they work well on each of them, beyond the sizes of the pieces.
• Creating compelling and attractive audiovisual narratives for the audience.
• Participating and contributing to the creative process, not only at a technical and production process level, but also with ideas to enrich current work.
• Occasional assistance with shoots and creative and production supervision.

Requirements

What kind of profile are we looking for?

• Previous experience of 3-4 years in a communication/media agency/etc.
• Advanced knowledge of editing, assembly, and animation, preferably in a social media environment (graphics, title cards, etc.). High level of Premiere and After Effects.
• Ability to get involved in the creative process, providing technical expertise and creative sensitivity.
• Previous experience in configuring exports in Premiere Pro, including codec selection, compression formats, export profile management, and optimization for different platforms.
• Previous experience generating various types of content from the same raw material.
• Knowledge of social media language, codes, and narratives.
• Time management and good organizational skills, especially when dealing with simultaneous tasks.
• Autonomy and problem-solving ability.
• High level of English.

• That you know and are aware of the world of culture, entertainment, cinema, etc.
• That you have knowledge of color correction, lighting, and audio.
• Interest and willingness to participate in small-format shoots oriented to social content, with handling of DSLR cameras or mobile devices.
