PayPal’s Communications team is building an executive‑ready, in‑house content capability. We’re hiring a senior videographer/editor who can both partner with leaders and roll up their sleeves to produce polished, story‑driven videos from concept to delivery. You'll ideate, script, shoot, direct, edit, and deliver videography and photography projects independently and with agency support. Your work will communicate to varied audiences, including employees, social media, and customers, to educate, engage, and inspire them while connecting them to PayPal’s business, culture, customers, and colleagues, and support Corporate Affairs in bringing global, regional, and business unit stories to life.
Must have:
  • Lead complex communication projects and campaigns.
  • Develop and execute advanced communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify communication opportunities and challenges.
  • Implement best practices for communication management and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all communication efforts.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the communications team.
  • Partner with the Content and Executive Communications teams to plan, script, shoot, and edit videos for internal and external channels.
  • Serve as lead producer for executive shoots, including recurring executive recordings; coach on‑camera talent.
  • Own end‑to‑end production on both small and larger-scale productions.
  • Build multi‑format deliverables (long‑form, short‑form, vertical/social cuts) and versioning for web, events, broadcast, and workplace channels.
  • Lead field production: single‑ and multi‑camera, lighting, audio; direct crews and contractors as needed.
  • Lead post‑production: edit, color, mix, graphics, finishing; maintain technical quality while ensuring brand consistency.
  • Uphold safety, privacy, and release/usage compliance; manage rights‑cleared music/stock.
  • 12+ years of professional experience across video production and post‑production, including direct work with senior executives.
  • Polished stakeholder management and executive presence; able to brief C‑suite and partners.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; strong Photoshop/Illustrator skills; familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Audition.
  • Demonstrated design craft (typography, timing, transitions, iconography, brand animation systems).
  • Hands‑on skills and aptitude with various cameras, lighting, and production sound; comfortable directing on set.
  • Fluency in multi‑platform delivery.
  • Proven ability to run multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Strong creative brief writing/storyboarding skills; can simplify complex topics and script for leaders.
  • Experience in large and complex organizations with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AI‑assisted pre‑/post‑production workflows.
  • BA/BS in film/media/communications or equivalent experience.

  • Advanced motion graphics capabilities.
  • Experience with live switching/virtual events.
  • Experience producing global town halls and multi‑site live streams (TriCaster/VMix/OBS or similar).

  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

What you'll do

  • Partner with the Content and Executive Communications teams to plan, script, shoot, and edit videos for internal and external channels (e.g., leader messages, culture stories, product explainers, campaign assets, social clips).
  • Serve as lead producer for executive shoots, including recurring executive recordings; coach on‑camera talent and ensure a calm, professional set.
  • Own end‑to‑end production on both small and larger-scale productions: creative development, storyboarding, budgets, schedules, crews, locations, permits, and vendor management.
  • Build multi‑format deliverables (long‑form, short‑form, vertical/social cuts) and versioning for web, events, broadcast, and workplace channels.
  • Lead field production: single‑ and multi‑camera, lighting, audio; direct crews and contractors as needed.
  • Lead post‑production: edit, color, mix, graphics, finishing; maintain technical quality while ensuring brand consistency.
  • Uphold safety, privacy, and release/usage compliance; manage rights‑cleared music/stock.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Design and animate motion graphics (lower thirds, openers, iconography, kinetic type) consistent with PayPal brand guidelines.
  • Delivery of video and photo storytelling for PayPal’s employee intranet, as well as other internal channels.
  • Establish and maintain a thorough production archival process (naming, asset management, templates, version control, review/approval, captions/translation, accessibility/ADA compliance).
  • Stakeholder and relationship management across Corporate Affairs and PayPal more broadly.
  • Partner with Analytics to track performance and inform iterative improvements.

What you’ll bring:

  • 12+ years of professional experience across video production and post‑production (in‑house corporate communications, creative studio/agency, or broadcast/newsroom), including direct work with senior executives.
  • Polished stakeholder management and executive presence; able to brief C‑suite and partners, translating business goals into compelling stories.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; strong Photoshop/Illustrator skills; familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Audition. Advanced motion graphics capabilities a plus. Reel/portfolio required.
  • Demonstrated design craft (typography, timing, transitions, iconography, brand animation systems); reel/portfolio required.
  • Hands‑on skills and aptitude with various cameras (Sony/Canon/Blackmagic), lighting, and production sound; comfortable directing on set.
  • Fluency in multi‑platform delivery: webcast/live, workplace tools, intranet, social, broadcast; experience with live switching/virtual events a plus.
  • Proven ability to run multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Strong creative brief writing/storyboarding skills; can simplify complex topics and script for leaders.
  • Experience in large and complex organizations with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AI‑assisted pre‑/post‑production workflows (transcription, rough cuts, cleanup, noise reduction, artboards) and a pragmatic view of where AI helps/doesn’t.
  • BA/BS in film/media/communications or equivalent experience.
