Summary

As VP of Sales Development at Insider, you will lead and mentor a team, setting and achieving sales targets. Responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline, collaborating with marketing on demand generation, ensuring employee onboarding and training, and conducting regular training sessions. You will work closely with Account Executives to maintain qualification standards, utilizing KPIs to track performance and drive continuous improvement within the Latam region. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills with proven success in SaaS sales and MarTech cold lead generation.

Job Description

    • Attract, hire, enable, coach, and lead sales talent; create and foster a performance-driven culture where each sales representative is consistently driven to be a top performer
    • Establish weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly sales targets and goals for the inside sales team including daily sales plans
    • Build, proactively manage and reliably convert the sales pipeline; set clear direction and ensure the team is pursuing the right opportunities
    • Support and lead the sales development activities for the Latam region
    • Utilize and track sales KPIs to hold the team accountable for performance
    • Partner with marketing to execute effective demand-generation and call-to-action campaigns
    • Work with internal team to ensure proper onboarding and training for all employees on the team
    • Organize and run weekly/monthly training sessions with the team to ensure continuous learning sessions for the team
    • Be a point of reference and escalation for the Inside Sales team and interface with Account Executive’s to ensure qualification criteria are met

What we expect from you:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, business management, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading a team of Sales Development Representatives.
    • Understanding the sales process and a successful experience in cold lead generation, preferably in SaaS, and MarTech.
    • Excellent leadership skills.
    • Superior project and time management skills. And a keen eye for detail!
    • Passion for testing, measuring, and improving outreach and follow-up effectiveness
    • The ability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced startup environment, as well as high emotional intelligence
