Job Description

Spatial is seeking a passionate and experienced VP of Sales & Business Development to lead and scale its sales and business development team. This role involves prospecting major business opportunities, driving discovery processes to meet revenue targets, and differentiating Spatial’s collaborative design offering. The VP will leverage internal and external resources, manage pipelines, and ensure positive customer engagement, focusing on expanding commercial opportunities with major global customers in design-centered businesses.
Good To Have:

  • Deep interest in design workflows and/or prior design experience
  • Familiarity with generative AI sales & marketing tools
Must Have:

  • 5+ years of proven enterprise sales experience, exceeding targets

We are looking for a passionate and experienced VP of Sales & Business Development to be a foundational member of our sales & business development team. We are building a collaborative team where every member takes ownership of building Spatial’s business from the foundation and scaling up. You will be developing a groundbreaking collaborative design business with major customers around the world.

The ideal candidate is a master negotiator with large customers, and has a passion for design centered businesses, including architectural, interior design, and product design. Spatial is seeking a self-motivated, problem-solver, who gets to the root of the customer’s challenges and comes up with proactive solutions accelerating their design workflows. Once you’ve proven Spatial’s value to an account via a Proof of Concept, you rapidly expand the commercial opportunity by adding profitable project phase amendments to the Master Service Agreement business structure.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect scalable major business opportunities
  • Drive an effective discovery process that meets aggressive revenue targets
  • Clearly differentiate Spatial’s offering and the value it provides to specific business outcomes
  • Maintain a complete knowledge of Spatial products and services
  • Effectively leverage internal resources, such as: Product, Marketing and subject matter experts to successfully generate revenue
  • Leverage and coordinate cross-functional teams both internally and externally to efficiently navigate the full sales cycle
  • Create and present collateral to key stakeholders within targeted verticals, including: architecture, interior design, and product design
  • Actively manage your pipeline of opportunities and consistently provide an accurate forecast to the executive team
  • Ensure potential Spatial customers are engaged and every Spatial team interaction is positive

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience at the enterprise level with a track record of consistently exceeding targets
  • Value based selling skills to large customers with robust product requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with an understanding of SaaS & design businesses
