Job Description

This Data Scientist role involves performing deep-dive analyses on key business trends, generating actionable insights from complex, multi-dimensional data sets, and supporting new product experiments. The position requires solving problems analytically, creating insights using tools like Tableau and Excel, and collaborating with Risk, Product, and Marketing teams to address technical and business challenges.
Must Have:
  • Perform deep-dive analyses on key business trends and generate actionable insights.
  • Collect and analyze very large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets.
  • Solve problems analytically and create actionable insights using reporting tools like Tableau and Excel.
  • Support new product experiments by establishing test and control plans and ensuring constant monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Product, Marketing, and other teams to determine performance trends and root causes.
  • Utilize knowledge of and experience with databases, spreadsheet, and statistical tools.
  • Advanced SQL experience, preferable with Teradata systems, data mining, and Big Query analytics (Google Cloud).
  • Master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Proficiency in A/B Testing.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Proficiency in Tableau.
  • Proficiency in Statistical Inference & Regression Modeling.
  • Proficiency in Machine Learning.

Job Description:

Job Duties: Perform deep-dive analyses on key business trends and generate actionable insights. Collect and analyze very large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets. Solve problems analytically and create actionable insights using reporting tools like Tableau and Excel to share analyses. Support new product experiments by establishing test and control plans and ensuring constant monitoring is in place to track product performance. Collaborate with Risk, Product, Marketing, and various other teams to determine performance trends and root causes to solve technical and business challenges. Utilize knowledge of and experience with databases, spreadsheet, and statistical tools as well as advanced SQL experience, preferable with Teradata systems, data mining, and Big Query analytics (Google Cloud). Telecommuting may be permitted from within a commutable distance.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering and a related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
