Job Description

Join one of the world’s leading AI-driven supply chain solutions companies as a Data Science Consultant I. This role involves onboarding clients onto Blue Yonder’s Luminate Planning suite and providing ongoing support through Data Science as a Service (DSaaS). You will conduct data mining, integrate third-party data, refine data collection, process and verify data integrity, perform ad-hoc analysis, address forecasting and data quality concerns, and build custom utilities using advanced ML and AI techniques. Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential for mentoring junior team members.
Good To Have:
  • Expertise in implementing industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Streamlit and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Dask/parallel processing.
  • Familiarity with Airflow orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with Postman/API integration.
Must Have:
  • Conduct data mining using cutting-edge methods and tools leveraging python programming language and SQL.
  • Integrate third-party data sources to enhance the company’s datasets when necessary.
  • Refine data collection procedures to ensure relevant data is available for analytic systems.
  • Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results clearly to stakeholders.
  • Address customer concerns regarding forecasting issues and data quality, and write codes to perform forecasting checks.
  • Building custom utilities using advance ML and AI techniques to solve business problems.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., Linear Regression, K-Means Clustering, Naive Bayes).
  • Clear understanding of Time series analysis and Time Series Forecasting Techniques.
  • Proficiency in data science toolkits such as Python, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn (expertise in at least two is required).
  • Experience in LLM, NLP techniques and Neural network.
  • Experience in supply chain concepts and statistical analysis.
  • Strong critical and operational thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in query languages such as SQL and Snowflake, or Python-based SQL wrappers.
  • Solid grounding in applied statistics, including distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
  • Strong scripting and programming capabilities.
  • Data-driven mindset with an eye for detail.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science with a focus on Data Science.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.

Scope:

As a Data Science Consultant, you will be a key player in onboarding clients onto Blue Yonder’s Luminate Planning suite of solutions and providing ongoing support through our Data Science as a Service (DSaaS) offering. Our team currently consists of approximately 50 associates in India, part of a larger global team spanning the US and Germany, and is poised for rapid growth. Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential, as you will mentor junior team members.
