The engineer will optimize vehicle-wide thermal energy by designing system configurations and control logic based on customer needs and global environmental factors. This involves collaborating with various departments like battery design, refrigeration cycle design, cooling water circuit design, and powertrain design to achieve overall vehicle optimization. The team fosters a cooperative environment, embracing new technologies and challenging technical issues, with members of all experience levels supporting each other.

Main Tasks

Develop performance to ensure that thermal energy management works as intended, balancing charging/discharging performance, reliability, and heating/cooling performance, so that customers can drive with peace of mind in any market environment.

This job involves building vehicle characteristics, system configurations, and control logic based on customer needs and global environments, and developing technologies for performance requirements and energy distribution to optimize thermal energy across the entire vehicle. You will leverage your specialized knowledge and communicate with various related departments such as battery design, refrigeration cycle (air conditioning) design, cooling water circuit design, engine, motor inverter, and other powertrain designs, to consolidate opinions and optimize the vehicle as a whole.

The workplace is a department where colleagues cooperate, challenging new technical issues daily by incorporating new technologies in addition to past experiences. It has a mix of young and experienced members, fostering an atmosphere where you can consult various people when in need.

Annual Income Range

Monthly salary (reference value): 230,000 JPY - 439,000 JPY

  • Determined comprehensively based on experience and expertise.

Estimated annual income (reference value): Approximately 4.1 million JPY - 7.8 million JPY

  • Monthly salary x 12 months + bonus (estimated value)
  • Bonus amount is a reference value, and actual payment timing, amount, and conditions will be determined separately.
  • Overtime allowance, etc., will be paid separately based on employee wage regulations.
