This internship is a full-time, 16-week commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2025 - May 2025.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct Industrial Engineering analysis projects, particularly in operational planning support, workload planning and forecasting, capacity utilization, and efficiency/process improvements

  • Ensure the appropriate methodology, measurements, tools and quantitative techniques (e.g. data collection, computer simulation, statistics, process flow analysis, etc.) are applied in projects

  • Lead and participate in team efforts and work on projects which require interfacing with all levels of cast and management

Required Qualifications & Skills

These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for this position:

  • Proven strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven strong interpersonal skills

  • Proven strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills

  • Willingness to learn new software application
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior related work experience with a focus on problem-solving

Education

  • Currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering or equivalent program with an intended graduation date on or after May 2026.

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (please note: no rounding) – transcript submission is required 

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

  • Fully available to work full-time (40 hours per week) from January – May 2026.

  • Fully available Monday – Friday and occasional evenings and/or weekends depending on project needs

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Orlando, FL area

  • Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work and across Walt Disney World property for on-site projects

The pay rate for this role in FLORIDA is $30.00 per hour.
