Job Description

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distribution of products within the warehouses. Duties include loading/unloading trucks, organizing and verifying incoming products, and preparing outgoing products for transfer or shipment. This role reports to the Warehouse Manager and involves fulfilling rental restocking requests, operating warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and dock lifts, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The position requires the ability to work independently or in a team, follow instructions, and manage time effectively.

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, storing, picking, packing and distribution of products within the warehouses. Their duties will include loading/unloading trucks, organizing and verifying incoming products and preparing outgoing products for transfer or shipment. This person reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for inventory receiving and warehouse put away of incoming product
  • Responsible for picking, packing and transferring product to internal and external customers
  • Loads and unloads trucks as new product arrives, and outgoing transfers are completed
  • Picks, packs and ships all product that is a part of the ABG request process
  • Fulfills the rental restocking request process including picking correct product, organizing transfers and ensuring all returning equipment is properly received, organized and racked
  • Responsible for safely operating warehouse equipment which may include pallet jacks, freight elevators and dock lifts
  • Always maintains a clean, healthy and organized environment/workspace across all warehouses and warehouse properties
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to be autonomous, prioritize workday, multitask and be detail-oriented
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work both independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and take direction well
  • Acceptable appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to be a team player
  • Ability to create an excellent customer and team experience
  • Good time management skills

Additional Information

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand or be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time
  • Regularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
  • Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50 lbs.)
