Job Description

This role involves developing and maintaining websites and landing pages, including coding with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The specialist will handle backend services, databases, and have experience with EpiServer/Optimizely CMS. Responsibilities include debugging technical issues, setting up and managing Google Tag Manager, implementing Google Analytics (GA4), improving UX/UI, ensuring ADA/WCAG compliance, developing email templates, optimizing email deliverability, implementing structured data, optimizing website load speed, and improving on-page SEO. The specialist will collaborate with IT and external vendors to resolve technical issues. The company emphasizes values of Integrity, Partnership, Excellence and Change. Must have:

Job Details

Website and Landing Page Development

  • Build and maintain campaign-specific landing pages
  • Help with coding on our corporate website – developing new page templates and functionality across the site
  • Ability to implement adaptable designs using HTML, CSS and JavaScript ensuring cross-browser compatibility and efficient performance
  • Handle backend services and databases
  • Needs to have EpiServer/Optimizely CMS experience

Website Technical Support

  • Debug any technical issues that arise on our corporate website or campaign landing pages
  • Address issues related to tracking, website performance and script conflicts
  • Work with IT and external vendors to resolve technical roadblocks

Google Tag Manager (GTM) & Analytics Implementation

  • Set up and handle Google Tag Manager for supervising website interactions
  • Implement and maintain Google Analytics (GA4) tags, custom events and conversions
  • Configure custom event tracking (i.e. button clicks, form submissions, scroll tracking and video plays)
  • Optimize tag performance to prevent slow page loads

UX/UI & Accessibility Improvements

  • Improve site navigation and usability to enhance the customer journey
  • Ensure website, landing pages and all email templates are ADA/WCAG-compliant
  • Conduct user experience (UX) testing and implement recommendations

5. Email & Digital Campaign Support

  • Work with our art director to develop adaptable email templates for marketing campaigns
  • Help to optimize email deliverability rates
  • Work with our reporting team to supervise email engagement through UTMs and custom event tracking
    Ideally will have experience with Pardot/Marketing Cloud/ Salesforce

6. SEO & Performance Optimization

  • Implement structured data (schema markup) for SEO
  • Optimize website load speed
  • Ensure accurate metadata, URL structures and internal linking
  • Work with the marketing team to improve on-page SEO
