Position Description:
The Dedicated Well-being Program Coordinator (PC) will work collaboratively with their internal WebMD account team and the client’s designated wellness team to raise awareness of the wellness products, services and engage employees in the wellness offerings.
The PC will sit onsite at the client location in Windsor, Canada and will travel to neighboring facilities for program promotion and employee engagement. The wellbeing coordinator will lead wellbeing initiatives supporting both unionized and non-unionized employees.
The successful candidate will be a high energy self-starter with a background in health promotion, community health, exercise physiology, and/or nutrition with a drive and passion to promote employee wellbeing. This individual must be creative and able to successfully engage and lead the employees in the wellness program.
In this role you will:
Track activity completion and participant feedback following wellness events & initiatives
Lead efforts to build and maintain a local Wellness Champion Network
Support Wellness Champions in creating a culture of well-being at the worksite level
Report program updates and outcomes to the client's Wellbeing Lead
Serve as a liaison with local and government health and wellness agencies to promote programs and share information
Share wellness updates, events, reminders on internal communication channel(s)
Create and send well-being communications (i.e., weekly, monthly, ad hoc based on specific events)
Work with internal company medical on initiatives or information sharing as approved by client’s HR/Health & Safety or WebMD team
Adhere to all federal and provincial legislative and legal requirements
Assist with day-to-day delivery of established programs with direction from the client and WebMD account team
Conduct ongoing program performance review and strategy support
Other duties specific to the account as designed by the client or WebMD (e.g. conduct biometric screenings or other in-person health assessments, support fitness centers, etc.)
qualifications, skills and experience:
BS/BA Required, MS/MBA differentiator.
Minimum of 2 years Wellness Coordinator or similar client-facing experience required.
Minimum of 2 years delivering well-being information products and services required.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage relationships with client stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
preferred:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with local health units
Experience managing a Wellness Champion Network
Professional Wellness Certification(s)
