Fluence (Nasdaq: FLNC) is a global market leader delivering intelligent energy storage and optimization software. This role, West Region Director, involves representing Fluence with customers, managing conflicts, and developing regional strategy. Key responsibilities include presentation skills, dealing with contract issues, managing regional budgets, and driving continuous improvement. The director will also be involved in new service product offering support.
Good To Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
Must Have:
  • Represent Fluence with customers in place of Service Leader.
  • Deal with conflicts (personal or contractual) that arise.
  • Develop regional strategy.
  • Presentation skills – executive summaries & communications.
  • Manage contract issues including change orders, quoting new service contracts, disputes/claims, legal coordination, sales support, and OEM warranty extensions.
  • Manage overall regional budget, including risks/opportunities, billing/collections.
  • Develop regional partners (contractors), service team organization, contract development/strategy, product offerings, and spares.
  • Drive continuous improvement strategy/teams.
  • Support new service product offerings.
  • 7+ years of experience in field services, power systems, renewable energy, or utility infrastructure.

Service Director – Region (within Americas)

This person should be able to represent FLUENCE with customers in place of Service Leader. Be able to deal with conflicts (personal or contractual) that arise and develop regional strategy.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in field services, power systems, renewable energy, or utility infrastructure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred
