Marvell is a leading provider of innovative technologies for HDD and SSD electronics markets, offering complete solutions including controllers, firmware, and reference board designs. This role involves designing and developing drivers and user-space/kernel software components for Marvell FC Adapters on Windows OS. The engineer will participate in all development phases, from requirements to support, working closely with dev, test, and customer teams to resolve issues and ensure OEM qualification. The position requires independent work, ownership, and problem-solving skills for moderate to high complexity issues.
Must have:
  • Design/develop drivers/ user-space/kernel software components for Marvell FC Adapters on Windows OS.
  • Participate in all phases of development and support.
  • Work closely with dev, test, and customer teams.
  • Ensure solution passes OEM qualification testing.
  • Work independently and take ownership.
  • Analyze and solve problems of moderate to high complexity.
  • Good experience in Windows device driver development.
  • Good understanding of various storage protocols.
  • Proficiency in C, Linux kernel programming, API libraries, UNIX OS internal.
  • Knowledge of FC, Storage drivers, Storage protocols and technologies.
  • Experience with Remote procedure calls (RPC) and Host CLI.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix team and fast-paced environment.

What You Can Expect

  • In this position, the engineer will perform the following tasks: Design/develop drivers/ user-space/kernel software components for Marvell FC Adapters on Windows Operating System
  • Participate in all phases of development and support from requirement, design, coding, unit testing, benchmarking and support.
  • Work closely with the dev, test, and customer teams on resolving issues during unit and integrated testing
  • Ensure that the solution passes the OEM qualification testing
  • Work independently, take ownership, demonstrate aggressiveness in completing tasks, and continuing to develop the abilities to assume more advanced assignments.
  • Analyze scenarios, data on problems of moderate to high complexity and come up with solutions for the same.

What We're Looking For

  • We are seeking a skilled Windows Device Driver Developer to join our dynamic team with Bachelors/ Masters with 4 to 7 Years of relevant experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have good experience in Windows device driver development and a good understanding of various storage protocols.
  • C, Linux kernel programming, API libraries, UNIX OS internal
  • FC, Storage drivers, Storage protocols and technologies
  • Remote procedure calls (RPC), Host CLI
  • Experience with NVMe, SPDK will be added advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix team and a fast-paced environment.
