Wireless RF OTA UWB Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Job Description
The Wireless RF OTA UWB Systems Engineer will collaborate with antenna engineers, PHY systems and algorithm engineers, and FW and SW engineers to evaluate the UWB system performance of Apple products and technology platforms through both lab tests and simulations. This involves debugging marginal/failure tests with cross-functional teams such as RFHW/Antenna/Product Design/EE and implementing design changes to resolve any issues. Additionally, the engineer will develop wireless channel modeling tools with high dynamic range and fast acquisition, conduct wireless channel measurement campaigns, extract wireless channel model statistics, and apply channel modeling knowledge to Apple product and technology development.

- Work closely with antenna engineers, PHY systems and algorithm engineers, FW and SW engineers to characterize Apple products or technology platforms UWB system performance by both lab tests and simulations. - Debugging marginal/failure tests with multi-functional teams like RFHW/Antenna/ Product Design/EE/etc. and drive design changes to address issues. - Develop wireless channel modeling tools with high dynamic range and fast acquisition. - Perform wireless channel measurement campaigns and extract wireless channel model statistics. - Apply channel modeling knowledges to Apple product and technology development.
