Join Apple's Graphics, Games, and Machine Learning (GGML) organization as a Game Performance Automation Engineer. The Game Performance Automation team builds world-class automation and infrastructure to measure game performance across Apple products and competitive hardware at scale. This role involves designing, building, and enhancing automation frameworks to ensure exceptional gaming experiences across Apple's ecosystem, collaborating with teams on technologies like Apple Silicon and Metal to deliver the full power of Apple's GPU technology.
Must Have:
  • Own sophisticated automation projects.
  • Support the entire program development cycle, from design concept through implementation.
  • Research and implement key metrics critical to understanding performance bottlenecks.
  • Design and develop automated testing frameworks, performance validation tools, and related infrastructure.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across Apple to understand and propose innovative solutions.
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field or 3+ years of directly related work experience.
  • Strong development skills in Swift, Python, Objective-C, C++ or similar languages.
  • Experience developing robust and repeatable automated testing solutions.
  • Ability to investigate, debug and triage difficult problems both independently and cooperatively.
  • Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with performance testing.
  • Experience with XCTest and Xcode.
