Workforce Planning Program Manager

Description -

This role is responsible for leading processes and projects that develop and drive labor strategies to support HP's global workforce needs, contributing to effective workforce evolution and agility.
 

Responsibilities

  • Leads strategic workforce planning projects and processes, working with leadership across the organizations (business, HR, finance, etc.)

  • Works on complex problems leveraging statistical/financial models to evaluate workforce metrics and/or complete in-depth evaluations of multiple factors, resulting in recommendations and strategic insights.

  • Evaluates workforce plans, trends, identifies gaps, and proposes solutions to HR and business management.

  • Assists with the implementation and management of reporting efforts, including creating dashboards, manager reporting suites, and ad hoc analysis.

  • Supports and engages in the hands-on development of new technology enhancements which improves workforce productivity.

  • Creates and establishes continuous improvements in headcount forecasting, translating those results into higher workforce productivity.

  • Collaborates across the company to ensure workforce related data integrity.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in human resources, business administration, project management, or a related field.

  • Typically 6+ years of proven experience in workforce planning & management, people analytics, project management, and/or a related field.

  • Proficient in PowerPoint (executive presentations), Excel (pivots, advanced formulas), Power BI development, SQL and/or Python (programming language).

  • Strong knowledge and skills in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with different levels of stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and uncertainty.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
