Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to,
Deal with detailed analyses of weaknesses and problems in transport logistics. With your help, we want to uncover improvement opportunities and implement optimizations in transport logistics. You will gain deep insights into our logistics and processes and have the opportunity to support us with your hands-on mentality in the Supply Chain area and also apply your theoretical knowledge in Lean Management. You will be part of our logistics department at the Hamburg site, which supplies Philips sites with parts and components and ships goods to our internal and external customers.
These are your tasks
- Support in implementing a new Transport Management System (TMS), including communication with international colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
- Optimization of transport processes, e.g., switching truck carriers and handling returns.
- Creation of guidelines and documentation for new processes.
- Research on process optimizations, e.g., switching from air freight to sea freight and analysis of logistical improvements.
What you bring
- Ongoing studies in logistics or similar fields.
- A high degree of self-initiative.
- Very good communication skills and assertiveness.
- You approach problems in a structured and analytical way and enjoy finding concrete solutions in a fast-paced work environment.
- Very good German and English skills.
- Initial knowledge in SAP and LEAN is an advantage.
- Available for at least 6 months.

- Working student salary: depending on your professional experience and current studies, your salary will be 15.00 €/h or 17.00 €/h
- Internship salary: depending on the type of internship
- Voluntary internship longer than 3 months: 1,952€ for a 35-hour week
- Mandatory internship: the salary is between
- 900 € (Bachelor's degree)
- 1000 € (Master's degree)
