Job Description

As a Worldwide Supply Demand Planner at Apple Inc, you will analyze and coordinate logistical functions, managing the entire product lifecycle from acquisition to disposal. Your core responsibility will be to develop, communicate, and execute end-to-end product demand and supply plans across all distribution channels in over 80 countries. This involves forecasting demand, inventory, and multi-channel sell-through, as well as generating weekly and quarterly supply plans aligned with financial objectives. You will also evaluate risks, implement contingency plans, and analyze daily product sales to identify opportunities and drive partner action. Close coordination with regional product planning, Marketing, and New Product Operations teams is essential for setting launch quantities and ensuring smooth product transitions. Partnering with global procurement teams to allocate constrained components, meet raw material inventory targets, and minimize material obsolescence is also key. You will present product updates and recommend actions to executive management weekly, and identify process improvement opportunities, marshal resources, and drive projects to completion.

Job Details

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Analyze and coordinate the ongoing logistical functions of a firm or organization. Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. Develops, communicates, and executes end-to-end product demand and supply plans across all channels of distribution in over 80 countries for a current or future product line. Forecast demand, inventory, and multi-channel sell through. Generate weekly and quarterly supply plans that meet Apple’s financial objectives. Evaluate risks. Plan and implement contingency plans to mitigate. Analyze product sales on a daily basis. Find opportunities and drive partner groups to appropriate action. Coordinate closely with regional product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements. Coordinate with Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch quantities of new product introductions and to ensure smooth product transitions. Partner with the global procurement teams to allocate constrained components, ensure raw material inventory targets are met, and minimize material obsolescence during product transition. Present product updates and recommend actions to Operations executive management team on a weekly basis. Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process, marshal resources, and drive projects to completion. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,200 - $209,900/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
