They ensure that Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets are reliable, secure, and accessible to authorized users.&nbsp;</p><ul><li><strong>Deployment and Configuration</strong>: Deploying Power BI services, configuring gateways, and managing data sources.</li><li><strong>Security and Access Control</strong>: Setting up security roles, managing user access, and ensuring data privacy compliance.</li><li><strong>Performance Optimization</strong>: Monitoring performance, optimizing queries, and improving report load times.</li><li><strong>Troubleshooting and Support</strong>: Resolving issues related to data refresh, connectivity, and report rendering.</li><li><strong>Collaboration</strong>: Collaborating with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to create meaningful visualizations.</li><li><strong>Governance</strong>: Implementing governance policies, version control, and best practices.</li><li><strong>Training and Documentation</strong>: Providing training to end-users and documenting processes.</li><li><strong>Collaboration with Teams</strong>:&nbsp; Working closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that the BI solutions meet business needs and are aligned with company goals.</li><li><strong>Updates &amp; Upgrades</strong>: Keeping the Power BI service up to date with the latest updates and features released by Microsoft.</li><li><strong>Report Management</strong>: Overseeing the creation, distribution, and maintenance of reports and dashboards to ensure they deliver accurate and actionable insights.</li><li><strong>Strategic</strong>: Stays informed on newest Microsoft offerings and how they impact Power BI (i.e. Microsoft Fabric).</li></ul></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Administration or related field.</li><li>5+ years of IT experience&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency in Power BI and other Microsoft BI Tools.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks.</li><li>Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.</li><li>Experience with data governance and compliance standards.</li><li>Familiarity with Azure services, particularly those related to data and analytics.</li><li>Proficiency with DAX, Power Query, and other data transformation tools.</li><li>Previous experience in a BI administrator role or a similar position.</li><li>A track record of managing Power BI services and ensuring their optimal performance.</li><li>Experience in troubleshooting and resolving Power BI related issues.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Understanding of the organization-wide settings that control how Power BI works.</li><li>Ability to configure, monitor, and provision organizational resources with Power BI.</li><li>Experience in data visualization/exploration tools.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul></div></section></div>
