Senior Sourcing Specialist

Seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist with 3-5 years of costing experience in the toy industry. Must have strong analytical skills, material sourcing expertise, and excellent communication skills.  Experience in project management and product development is a plus.

Job Description What will you work on? <ul><li>Work with internal and external parties as a team in order to achieve identified target costs for new products</li><li>Prepare internal product quotes based on prelim function description and sketches for new development projects as well as existing products</li><li>Sourcing materials, components and new suppliers for new projects as required</li><li>Setting up and maintaining Spin Master's Costing data base and Material Master component lists</li><li>Liaise with vendors and suppliers on the product costs</li><li>Perform cost reduction exercise and continuous improvements on Costing profile</li><li>Perform ad-hoc project as assigned</li></ul>
 Required Skill Set: <ul><li>Dynamic in material sourcing &amp; merchandising</li><li>Strong analytical skills, self-motivated &amp; initiative, able to work independently</li><li>Displays effective communication skills with all levels of employees, suppliers and management</li><li>Good command of spoken &amp; written English</li></ul>
 Required Qualifications &amp; Experience: <ul><li>Degree in ME/PIE/EE or equivalent</li><li>3-5 years solid costing experience and sound knowledge in toy manufacturing industry or related product. Project Management and Product development knowledge with exposure on procurement is added advantage</li><li>Occasional travel is required.</li></ul>
