Job Description

As an Account Director at Jellyfish, you will lead key client partnerships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention. You will manage client accounts, identify growth opportunities, build strong client relationships, and provide guidance to the client team. You will also manage commercial targets and contribute to the success of the clients in your portfolio. Collaborating with the team to promote Jellyfish products and solutions to support client KPIs. The role requires expertise in media, particularly with retail clients, and experience delivering high-profile campaigns. You will be expected to support and mentor junior team members and build constructive client relationships.

Job Description

Reporting to our VP, Client Management, you will lead on important client partnerships, maintaining high levels of satisfaction, retention.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • You will lead one or more client accounts, anticipating our client's needs, and identifying and pursuing growth opportunities
  • You will collaborate with others to create strong client relationships, expressed through client feedback and client retention
  • You will be seen by a client as the lead voice, being a trusted advisor
  • You will provide direction to the client team and set and manage measurements that positively affect our clients' goals
  • As a lead, you will manage client commercial targets, contributing to the commercial success of clients in your portfolio, as evidenced by year-on-year growth
  • You will follow client management best practices and achieve internal KPIs to lead the strongest client partnerships
  • You will promote how Jellyfish products and solutions can support clients’ KPIs
  • You will support our client team(s), ensuring they have the appropriate resources needed to meet client needs

Qualifications

  • 8 years+ experience working in media, specifically with clients in the retail sector
  • Expertise in delivering high-profile campaigns and retainers
  • Experience supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Great at building relationships at all levels and inspiring confidence in the delivery of projects
  • Compelling written and verbal skills to convey complex information simply
  • Articulate, incisive, and able to build constructive and lasting colleague/client relationships
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to flex and pivot in a fast-paced industry
