Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on building and maintaining relationships with clients within the Black community in Brazil. Responsibilities include understanding client business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics. The role requires working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project completion, achieving growth goals through Google advertising product presentations, and developing data-driven analyses and recommendations. Fluency in English and Portuguese is essential for this client-facing position. The role involves planning and achieving growth goals, presenting Google advertising solutions, and developing data-driven recommendations aligned with customer goals. Experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media is required.
Must have:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently as this is a client facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged selling.
  • Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Experience in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, in Google Ads and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, to achieve goals and drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a high standard.
  • Plan and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet marketing objectives.
