Job Description

As an Aerospace Structural Analyst, you will be responsible for structural assessments throughout the product lifecycle, including new design concepts and in-service operations. This includes providing analytical and experimental solutions for customer issues to meet mechanical integrity requirements, such as static, transient, and dynamic loads and responses. You will conduct structural assessments, including Whole Engine Modeling, static and dynamic analysis, and participate in technical reviews. The role involves test planning and interpretation, correlating simulation with experimental data. The company is an engineering solutions provider with a global presence and is dedicated to solving engineering challenges.
Must have:
  • 6+ years of aerospace structural analysis experience
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) codes
  • Experience with Engine Modeling, rotor dynamics, and extreme event assessments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Good to have:
  • Programming experience in Matlab, Python, Java, C, C++

As Aerospace Structural Analyst you will be responsible for;

  • Structural assessments across the full product lifecycle, including new design concepts through to in-service operations
  • Analytical and experimental solutions for customer issues to meet whole product mechanical integrity requirements, including static, transient, and dynamic loads and responses
  • Structural assessments, such as Whole Engine Modeling, static and dynamic analysis
  • Test planning and interpretation, such as correlation of simulation to experimental data
  • Participate in technical reviews, Product Safety Reviews, Technical Life Reviews and Customer Reviews

Qualifications;

  • 6+ years of aerospace structural analysis experience
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) codes such as Nastran, Ansys, Dyna3D, NX
  • Experience with Engine Modeling, rotor dynamics and extreme event assessments
  • Programming experience in Matlab, Python, Java, C, C++ would be a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Must be US Citizen

Location: Onsite in Indianapolis, IN

 

Salary Range: $100,000 - $170,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
