Job Summary

Job Description

This role is for a Simulation Technician 1 responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and correcting issues in simulators and associated systems. It involves using a maintenance management system, completing training, conducting pre/post-flight tasks, performing visual alignments, and executing automatic Qualification Test Guides. The technician will also assist with hardware renovations, adhere to CAE's quality management system, provide customer assistance, and handle administrative and technical support tasks.
Must have:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on simulators and associated systems.
  • Diagnose and correct problems in simulators and associated systems.
  • Use maintenance management system for tracking activities.
  • Complete designated training activities.
  • Perform pre and post-flight tasks on designated simulators.
  • Perform basic visual alignments.
  • Execute automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG).
  • Assist with hardware renovation and modifications.
  • Learn and comply with CAE's quality management system.
  • Provide timely customer assistance.
  • Perform maintenance tasks to preserve simulators.
  • Perform administrative tasks.
  • Perform technical services group support tasks.
  • Technical Degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering or aviation/technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to interpret system prints and schematics.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and package.
  • Intermediate level in English.

Simulation Technician 1

Requirements:

  • Technical Degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering or a field related to aviation and technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to interpret system prints and schematics.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and package.
  • Intermediate level in English.
