Job Description

Rhino Entertainment is seeking an experienced AML & RG Manager to lead their team, ensuring robust compliance with AML/CFT and Responsible Gambling programs. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, this role involves overseeing customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting. The manager will lead, mentor, and develop a team of Operational Compliance analysts, manage resources, set objectives, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions, fostering continuous improvement.
Must Have:
  • Lead and develop Operational Compliance analysts team.
  • Ensure timely handling of alerts, escalations, and reviews.
  • Oversee risk-based player assessments (EDD, SOF).
  • Supervise transaction and player behaviour monitoring for AML/RG.
  • Approve internal escalations, STR/SARs, and high-risk player decisions.
  • Ensure AML/CFT and RG compliance across licensed jurisdictions.
  • Stay updated with evolving AML, CFT, and RG regulations.
  • Identify process enhancement opportunities for efficiency.
  • Support audits, regulatory inspections, and internal testing.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for alignment.
  • Minimum 4+ years in AML, RG, or compliance in online gambling.
  • In-depth knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and RG principles.
  • Proven leadership in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Expertise in risk assessments, STR/SAR submissions, investigations.
  • Proficient with case management and transaction monitoring tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, risk-based decision-making.
  • Professional certifications (CAMS, ICA, or equivalent).
  • Experience across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with behavioural monitoring systems and data analytics.

Description

At Rhino Entertainment we are currently seeking an experienced AML & RG Manager to lead the team delivering our AML and RG programs. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for ensuring robust and compliant processes are in place for customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, responsible gambling initiatives, and regulatory reporting. This role demands a solid understanding of AML/CFT and RG requirements across various jurisdictions, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to fostering continuous improvement and ensuring regulatory compliance.

What your role will look like:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Operational Compliance analysts
  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely handling of alerts, escalations, and reviews
  • Set team objectives, monitor KPIs, and ensure consistent achievement of service-level agreements
  • Provide coaching, training, and support to enhance team knowledge and performance
  • Oversee risk-based assessments of players across their lifecycle, including EDD and source of funds (SOF) reviews
  • Supervise real-time and retrospective monitoring of transactional activity and player behaviour for AML and RG risks
  • Review and approve internal escalations, STR/ SAR recommendations, and high-risk player decisions
  • Ensure compliance with AML/CFT and RG procedures across all licensed jurisdictions
  • Stay up to date with evolving AML, CFT, and Responsible Gambling regulations across jurisdictions to ensure proactive compliance and risk mitigation
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes and workflows for greater efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work closely with the MLRO and Compliance team to implement procedural updates and address deficiencies
  • Support audits, regulatory inspections, and internal testing by preparing documentation and managing team responses
  • Ensure policies are effectively implemented at the operational level and propose improvements where gaps are identified
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including Compliance, Legal, Customer Support, VIP, Fraud & Payments, and Data teams to ensure alignment
  • Collaborate with MLRO and Head of Compliance to support investigations, escalations, and policy adherence
  • Represent the AML and RG compliance analysts team in cross-functional projects and risk assessments
  • Monitor trends in player behaviour and emerging risks to inform procedural or strategic enhancements
  • Contribute to qualitative and quantitative reporting to senior management, regulators, and board committees
  • Use data-driven insights to refine intervention strategies and optimise detection tools

Requirements

  • Minimum 4yrs+ experience in AML, RG or compliance roles within the online gambling sector
  • In depth knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, RG principles, and relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk assessments, STR/SAR submissions, and complex player investigations
  • Proficient with case management tools, transaction monitoring systems, and player risk indicators
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and confident in making risk-based decisions
  • Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent in AML, RG, or financial crime compliance
  • Experience operating across multiple regulatory jurisdictions and adapting to differing regulatory landscapes
  • Familiarity with behavioural monitoring systems and use of data analytics to inform interventions
