This Assembler 2- Radiator Technician position is responsible for using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, and work instructions to correctly disassemble, assemble, and test components in the Radiator Shop. The role may also involve operating equipment such as magnetic drills, power washers, and cranes. Essential duties include following detailed instructions, cleaning and buffing components, blowing out parts, maintaining a clean and safe workplace, adhering to schedules and operating procedures, and demonstrating attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday-Thursday 4pm-2:30am.
Must have:
  • Follow detailed disassembly and assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
  • Disassembles, assembles, and test components by utilizing hand and power tools.
  • Cleans and buffs components.
  • Wash components with a power washer.
  • Blowout parts to remove dirt and debris.
  • May require operation of a crane, or magnetic drill.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol.
  • Make sure that schedules are running exactly as they are listed.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
  • Turn off equipment when not in use.
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform the same task repeatedly.

Job Details

PRIMARY PURPOSE

This position is responsible for using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly disassemble, assemble, and test components in the Radiator Shop. Additionally, this position may be responsible for operation of equipment including magnetic drill, power washer, and cranes.

This is a 2nd shift position with standard hours Monday-Thursday 4pm-2:30am

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of the basic use of specialized equipment & hand tools.
  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform the same task repeatedly.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is 21.50/hr.

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
