Job Description

Accor is seeking an Assistant Hygiene Manager to assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily hygiene operations across all departments. This role ensures effective implementation of cleaning schedules and sanitation programs, conducts routine hygiene audits, and monitors chemical use. The manager will support staff training, work with production teams to minimize contamination risks, and maintain hygiene records. Responsibilities also include assisting in investigations, supervising staff, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in hygiene standards. Good To Have:
  • Diploma or degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Environmental Health, Hospitality, or related field
  • Experience preferably in food, hospitality, or healthcare industry
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience
Must Have:
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily hygiene operations
  • Ensure the effective implementation of cleaning schedules and sanitation programs
  • Conduct routine hygiene audits and inspections
  • Monitor the use and storage of cleaning chemicals and ensure safety protocols are followed
  • Support in staff training and awareness on hygiene and sanitation practices
  • Work closely with production/operations teams to minimize contamination risks
  • Ensure hygiene records and documentation are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Assist in investigations related to hygiene non-conformance or complaints
  • Supervise hygiene staff and coordinate with external cleaning contractors
  • Assist in preparing for internal and external audits
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in hygiene standards and processes
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a hygiene/sanitation role
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Environmental Health, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a hygiene/sanitation role, preferably in food, hospitality, or healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations (or industry-specific hygiene standards).
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience is an advantage.
