Salesforce is seeking an expert Solutions Engineer to collaborate with financial services customers in London, UK. The role involves crafting innovative customer engagement roadmaps using Salesforce applications and platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise software, C-level engagement, and driving business outcomes through technology. Responsibilities include providing thought leadership on digital transformation, conducting discovery sessions, building new solutions, partnering with sales teams, presenting business value to executives, and contributing to team knowledge. The role requires integrating cloud applications with existing business systems and leading multiple customer engagements.
Must have:
  • 7+ years of IT experience in pre-sales or implementation of customer engagement solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise software and C-level engagement.
  • Experience in Financial Services or a similar regulated industry.
  • Strong pre-sales or implementation focus.
  • Demonstrate customer engagement solutions and drive use cases.
  • Understanding of AI and its application in enterprise CRM.
  • Build business cases and ROI.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Experience in sophisticated solution selling to enterprise customers.
  • Deliver functional and technical responses to RFPs/RFIs.
  • Engage with business users to build solution presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes.
Good to have:
  • Ability to uncover business challenges through discovery sessions and workshops.
  • Innovate and build new solutions with out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Work as a team player, sharing knowledge.
  • Conceptual knowledge of integrating cloud applications.
  • Run Proof of Concepts and manage customer stakeholders.
  • Broad understanding of Cloud Computing, SFA, Service & Support, Marketing, and AI solutions.
  • Experience in working with enterprise software and services organizations.

We have an outstanding opportunity for an expert Solutions Engineer to work with our outstanding financial services customers in crafting ground-breaking customer engagement roadmaps demonstrating the Salesforce applications and platform in London,UK. The successful applicant will have a track record of working with enterprise software and services organizations in driving business outcomes through technology solutions, with experience in engaging at the C-level with Business and Technology groups.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership in how large enterprise organization can drive customer success through digital transformation.

  • Ability to uncover the challenges and issues a business is facing by running successful and targeted discovery sessions and workshops.

  • Be an innovator who can build new solutions using out-of-the-box thinking.

  • Build a strong partnership with Sales teams and build trust with team members.

  • The ability to authoritatively present and articulate the business value to managers and executives of all levels.

  • Work as an excellent teammate by chipping in, learning and sharing new knowledge.

  • Demonstrate a conceptual knowledge of how to integrate cloud applications to existing business applications and technology.

  • Lead multiple customer engagements concurrently.

  • Be self-motivated, flexible, and take initiative.|

Required Skills:

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies or the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

  • Relevant 7+ years of confirmed experience in the IT Industry, either pre-sales or implementation of customer engagement solutions, supporting the sales cycle in selling CRM or high value business solutions.

  • Experience working with client in Financial Services (such Banking, Wealth Management, FinTech) or experience in a similar Regulated Industry such as Pharma.

  • Strong focus and experience in pre-sales or implementation is required.

  • Experience in demonstrating Customer engagement solution, understand and drive use cases, customer journeys, ability to draw ‘Day in life of’ across different LOBs. Experience in running Proof of Concepts and managing customer stakeholders.

  • Understanding of AI and the application of AI in the context of Enterprise CRM.

  • Business Analysis/ Business case/return on investment construction.
    A broad understanding of and ability to articulate the benefits of Cloud Computing, SFA, Service & Support, Marketing and AI solutions.
    Strong verbal and written communications skills with a focus on needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques.
    Outstanding presentation and demonstration skills.

  • Experience in sophisticated solution selling to Enterprise customers

  • Deliver functional and technical responses to RFPs/RFIs.

  • Engage with business users to build solution presentations, demonstrations and prototypes.
