The Associate Content Analyst (Korean) role involves processing and maintaining financial data from companies globally, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and completeness, developing expertise in financial regulations, maximizing tool usage, adhering to data standards, and delivering high-quality data. The role requires collaboration within teams and the ability to resolve data-related issues, communicate with internal and external departments, and support continuous process improvement. The job primarily focuses on financial data entry and analysis within a global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.

Job Details

Company Financials is one of the key verticals within Content Operations and Managed Services. The vertical is basically responsible for providing financial information to the clients on companies across the globe. Financial information for the clients would basically mean presenting financial statements as reported by the companies to the clients. The day-to-day responsibility would mean updating Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement, including footnote items and business, geographic and pension related segments in the database which would be key input to generate the ratio analytics and eventually flow on to the products. The data collection process would be completely governed by internal policies of LSEG. The entire updates would need to be performed within the set timelines and with expected standards of accuracy.

 

Role responsibilities

  • Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using database and financial knowledge.

  • Taking responsibility for data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness

  • Developing expertise in database and financial knowledge through continuous learning and development. Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices/conventions in relevant markets.

  • Maximize usage of available tools/support to best of advantage to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations

  • Adhere to dynamic process, data operations standards and current data policies & procedures.

  • Responsible for delivering high productivity and quality data as per expected performance standards

  • Working effectively within teams or by yourself, be proactive to identify, escalate and resolve data problems

  • Communicate & liaise with internal and external departments for resolution of data queries as per established process

  • Support continuous improvement of the process by sharing observations and feedback

 

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Korean

  • Understanding of Financial Markets and Statements

  • Microsoft Office Skills – Outlook, Excel

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree
