Job Description

As an Associate Operations Analyst at SS&C, you will be responsible for downloading transactions, prices, and positions from electronic interfaces. You'll manage reconciliation of client accounts, audit internal systems, and calculate investment portfolio performance. Additionally, you will prepare reports and resolve client inquiries. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills. You will need to analyze data, build relationships, and be results-oriented. Training will be provided for this entry-level position. You will be working in a hybrid model and can expect a business casual dress code.
Must have:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or university
  • Exceptional communication, both verbal and writing, skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
  • Excellent critical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
Good to have:
  • Investment industry experience or a degree in Finance / Economics
  • Experience with Advent software products (Axys, APX)

What You Will Get To Do: 

  • Daily download of transactions, prices, and positions from various electronic interfaces.
  • Manage reconciliation of client accounts and transactions.
  • Audit internal systems to match custody statements.
  • Calculation of investment portfolio performance figures.
  • Prepare daily, monthly & quarterly investment reports.
  • Resolve client inquiries & data related issues.

The Impact You Will Make: 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or university.
  • Investment industry experience or a degree in Finance / Economics is preferred.
  • Experience with Advent software products (Axys, APX) is preferred.
  • Required critical traits include:
    • Exceptional communication, both verbal and writing, skills. 
    • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
    • Excellent critical and strategic thinking skills. Must be able to quickly gather & analyze data.
