Job Description
As an Associate Product Manager at Absolute Sports, you will collaborate with design, engineering, and content teams to define product requirements. Responsibilities include developing business requirements, user stories, and product specifications; leveraging data (Google Analytics, BigQuery, SQL) for product performance monitoring and strategy; managing the product lifecycle; conducting market research; and updating product roadmaps. You'll communicate product plans to internal and external stakeholders. The role requires proficiency in SQL, A/B testing experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Key
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Design, Engineering and Content to define product requirements
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements, user stories and create comprehensive product specifications and architecture for each product
- Leverage data-driven decision-making by utilizing tools such as Google Analytics, BigQuery, and SQL to monitor product performance and drive product strategy
- Support in managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Conduct market research & competition benchmarking to identify customer needs and gaps in our product
- Assist in developing and updating product roadmaps and ensure deliverables align with company goals
- Communicate product plans, benefits, and results, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal stakeholders to all company employees & users
Requirements
Proficiency in SQL is necessary for analyzing large datasets and automating scripts
Knowledge and experience in A/B testing and utilizing data-driven approaches for product development
Ability to conduct user research, market research, user interviews with aim to solicit user feedback
Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills are essential for effective performance
The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling ambiguous and open-ended problems
