This entry-level Associate Sales Planning Manager supports the Sales VP, Strategy, and Planning teams by providing accurate sales analysis, support, and promotional insights to maximize opportunities. Key responsibilities include creating weekly/monthly forecast reports, managing MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing Policy) violations, and supporting the Philips Beauty business. This role offers a broad exposure to various sales organization functions, serving as an excellent launching pad for new team members.
Must have:
  • Provide support for VP of Sales, Sales Strategy and Enablement Director and Sales Planning Team
  • Provide accurate Sales analysis, support and promotional insights
  • Create weekly/monthly report updates of forecasts, YTD sales, quota performance, MAP management
  • Coordinate Latest View with the Sales Leadership Team and create Monthly Walk Around Doc
  • Call out discrepancies in the forecast on a weekly basis
  • Manage the MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing Policy) violations and process
  • Provide Associate Sales Planning responsibilities for the Philips Beauty business
  • Overcome challenges, maintain market relationships, and grow the category for Philips Beauty
  • Provide general support to the Sales Planning Team throughout the annual business planning process

Job Details

In this role the ideal candidate will provide support for the VP of Sales, Sales Strategy and Enablement Director and Sales Planning Team by providing accurate Sales analysis, support and promotional insights in order to maximize sales opportunities.

Your role:

  • You will create weekly/monthly report updates of forecasts, YTD sales, quota performance, MAP management, coordinates Latest View with the Sales Leadership Team and creates Monthly Walk Around Doc. Calls out any discrepancies in the forecast on a weekly basis, to ensure the accurate numbers are entered, so the business knows what is realistic, and what we will be able to ship.
  • You will manage the MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing Policy) violations and process, which is extremely important to protecting our brand and making sure our products are not being advertised under approved pricing, which could cause market disruption. In this role, you are solely responsible for owning this process and having the final say in issuing violations to those who do not abide by the policy.
  • This role includes Associate Sales Planning responsibilities for the Philips Beauty business to overcome challenges, maintain market relationships, and grow the category. They will also provide general support to the Sales Planning Team throughout the annual business planning process.
  • This role is a great launching pad opportunity, which exposes new team members to a wide range of processed and functions within the Sales organization.

You're the right fit if:

  • If you have sales analysis experience with a major CPG company it is preferred though not required.
  • Your skills include problem solving, general knowledge of sales operations and support, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced ability in Excel, PowerPoint and database reporting.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or vocational education certificate in business administration, sales, finance, data analytics, or an equivalent field.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You have strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an Office Based Role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $65,000 to $104,000

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Stamford, CT.
