Associate Software Test Automation Engineer

Wolters Kluwer Italia, a leading player in the development of software applications for professionals and businesses, is looking for a SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER for the TECHNOLOGY function of the Tax & Accounting division.

The candidate will primarily manage testing on cloud and/or web-based products dedicated to businesses (ERP, electronic invoicing). The candidate will collaborate in an Agile mode within a structured team, highly motivated to achieve delivery objectives, which will allow them to gain useful skills to support product development, with the possibility of experiencing the organizational and relational dynamics of a solid and structured multinational operating in a constantly evolving market.

Responsibilities

• Testing activities to verify the correct application of requirements on software functionalities
• Execution of functional and regression tests on different platforms
• Test automation through dedicated tools
• Monitoring and analysis of test results to identify and resolve any problems
• Creation of detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports
• Development of test cases based on customer requirements and project specifications
• Interface with the software development team for the best delivery of customizations;

Main Requirements

• ITS diploma or equivalent studies or similar institutions
• Knowledge of programming languages used to write test scripts, such as Python, Java, or C#
• Ability to create detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports
• Ability to identify and solve complex problems through an analytical and methodical approach
• Good knowledge of the Office package
• Interest in innovative technologies and the IT world
• Good analytical skills and proactivity in finding improved solutions for product functionalities
• Good relational skills at all levels and teamwork
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.

Desired Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, Test Complete, and other automation frameworks to ensure complete test coverage and efficiency in development processes
• Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester, Test Automation Certification
• Knowledge of main management flows (sales and purchases, collections and payments, electronic invoicing, warehouse, accounting processes of companies/professionals)
