Integrated Marketing & Special Projects, Associate Specialist 

San Mateo, CA (Collab)

Role overview:

  • The successful candidate will primarily support the Integrated Marketing & Special Projects team in implementing and evaluating tactics (as led and directed by the team) on inter-departmental marketing projects and promotions across PlayStation’s vertical marketing teams and the wider Sony group.
  • Function supports IM team and thus successful candidate would be working under the supervision of the more senior Specialist and Senior Staff Project Manager
  • This is an exciting opportunity to join a team who get to work on marketing projects for all SIE products as well as the whole of the wider Sony Group. Sony Pictures, Sony Music and Sony Electronics. An amazing position for someone looking to get the broadest possible experience of marketing at a world leading entertainment technology company. An opportunity for learning and growth in entertainment technology across projects that move the needle both for PlayStation and our sister business units.
  • The successful candidate will be part of a team who have relationships across the whole Sony Group. They will get to work from inception to delivery of amazing marketing campaigns designed to move the needle culturally for our brand and ensure PlayStation is represented across the entire Sony spectrum.
  • Under the supervision of the broader team they will get to learn best practices in partnership marketing, be part of ideation for campaigns and get to experience all facets of how campaigns are delivered and assessed.
  • The role will interact with all vertical and horizontal teams in Global Marketing, wider SIE teams and a huge number of Sony teams around the world.

What you'll be doing:

  • The candidate will work closely with the Director & Integrated Marketing team; learning how to maximize awareness of PlayStation priority products and services across Sony communication channels in all markets.  Key tasks to include, but not limited to:
    • Working on project tactics from inception of campaign through to end, working with multiple internal and external parties:
      • Creative ideation
      • Creative briefing
      • Working on asset reviews and approvals
      • Learning how to plan campaigns with relevant teams and stakeholders
      • Learning how to execute and roll out of campaigns across all marketing channels
      • Learning how to gather analytical and qualitative data for campaign evaluation
      • Creating summaries of campaigns and projects for internal and external distribution
  • Working with internal stakeholders, the candidate will be support team in executing marketing activities for PlayStation products and services; coordinating with internal and external delivery teams to ensure campaign objectives are met
  • Working with external stakeholders, the candidate will help the team manage best practice processes across the organization & manage incoming requests from Sony partners globally

  • Passion for entertainment of all kinds, enthusiasm for popular culture and ability to ability to work collaboratively.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s Degree a plus

  • Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills are a must due to the complexity of products, volume of campaign components and number of stakeholders.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills essential.
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Must have ability to maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information, work well with others and handle a high-pressure environment.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

$74,500$111,700 USD
