Job Description

The Automated QA Analyst designs and executes technical tests on Generix application solutions within Agile projects. Integrated into the development team, they work closely with developers to implement tests for each evolution. They are responsible for setting up and monitoring test campaigns, including API tests, performance tests, and writing and automating test cases, ensuring anomaly detection and resolution.
Must have:
  • Design, write, and execute functional and technical test scenarios (UI, API, performance)
  • Automate test cases using appropriate tools
  • Monitor test progress, analyze results, and diagnose anomalies
  • Collaborate closely with development teams for correction follow-up
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration of tests in CI/CD pipelines
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of quality processes
  • DEC in computer science or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing or equivalent
  • Proficiency in UI and API testing (REST/SOAP)
  • Knowledge of Windows, programming/scripting
  • Experience in test automation and continuous integration
  • Knowledge of Selenium, Javascript, Cucumber, Jenkins, Jira, X-Ray, SOAP UI, Postman

Job Description

Mission

The automated QA analyst's mission is to design and execute technical tests on the application solutions developed at Generix, within the framework of Agile projects. The QA analyst is integrated into the development team and works in pairs with developers to implement tests for each evolution. They intervene on several projects in parallel and actively contribute to the quality approach in collaboration with the development teams. They are responsible for setting up and monitoring test campaigns, including API tests, performance tests, as well as writing and automating test cases. They ensure the detection of anomalies and their resolution in conjunction with developers.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Design, write, and execute functional and technical test scenarios (UI, API, performance).
  • Automate test cases using appropriate tools.
  • Monitor test progress, analyze results, and diagnose anomalies.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams for correction follow-up.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • DEC diploma in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in UI and API testing (REST/SOAP).
  • Knowledge of Windows, programming/scripting.
  • Experience in test automation and continuous integration.
  • Knowledge of tools: Selenium, Javascript, Gherkin (asset), Cucumber, Jenkins, Jira, X-Ray, SOAP UI, Postman.
