Must have:

Excellent knowledge of Basketball

Fluency in English
Ability to work under pressure
Minimum 2 years of experience in sports betting

Good to have:

Knowledge of American Football, Baseball, and Ice Hockey

Job Details

Are you all about Basketball and have a highly analytical mindset? Betsson Group are looking for a motivated individual with a strong passion for Basketball and betting to join our Sportsbook team to be based in Malta.

Working within the Betsson Sportsbook team, as a Basketball Trader you will be responsible for odds compiling, risk management and trading live Basketball matches. You will be part of Betsson's Sportsbook team that has a passion for sports and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

As a Basketball trader, you will focus on trading and managing basketball matches. Your main responsibilities will include the following:

Managing pre-match and in-play odds and risk for basketball matches
Creation, mapping and settlement of events where required
Monitoring of betting patterns and collaboration with risk teams in customer profiling
Working closely with our 3rd party providers
Efficient error reporting
Being creative and coming up with new ideas on how to improve our product

Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of Basketball with strong interest in the NBA, Euroleague and other major European competitions. Knowledge of American Football, Baseball and Ice Hockey considered an advantage.
Comprehension of sports odds and the underlying mathematical and statistical concepts.
Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and teamwork skills
Fluency in English
Ability to think quickly and work under pressure with minimal supervision
Minimum 2 years of experience in sports betting
The role requires work during unsociable hours and flexibility to work at any time including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays, with an emphasis on weekend evenings
