Meet your Team: Advertising Solutions

The Advertising Solutions team builds technologies that connect advertisers with ideal users for their apps and games. Integrated with adjoe’s ML models, our custom APIs serve 2B requests per day at low latency.

We've developed advertising campaign management and complex analytics tools that provide actionable insights on 200 million daily users to both internal teams and external partners. Our Go-based backend feeds data to a TypeScript React frontend, supporting sophisticated analysis tools built on columnar databases like Druid for sub-millisecond query response times, complemented by MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB, and Kafka.

For developers, this means working on high-performance systems that process massive datasets while maintaining an agile development approach – implementing advanced algorithms through deep learning approaches for campaign distribution and bid optimization, building intuitive dashboards, and creating APIs that power business decisions across the entire advertising ecosystem.

• Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather, validate, and clean data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Data Analysis: Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to extract valuable insights from structured and unstructured data.
• Data Visualization: Create clear and compelling visualisations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking mechanisms to measure and monitor business metrics.
• Trend Analysis: Identify patterns, trends, and correlations in data to provide insights into business performance and customer behaviour.
• Collaborative Decision-Making: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, to understand their requirements and provide analytical support.
• Data-driven Recommendations: Present findings and actionable recommendations based on data analysis to drive operational improvements, optimise processes, and enhance business strategies.
• Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest tools, techniques, and industry trends in data analytics and contribute to the growth and development of the data analytics function within the organisation.

• You have at least 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in product companies.
• You’re proficient in SQL and Python, and comfortable with writing and understanding new code during a live test task.
• You have an excellent understanding of data visualization and have a lot of experience building dashboards (e.g. QuickSight, MS PowerBI, Tableau, R Shiny, Streamlit, SuperSet) to showcase analysis results.
• You have great analytical skills and are able to understand an intricate system with multiple asynchronous user flows.
• You’re excited to work with data and have experience in extracting business insights from it.
• You worked closely with engineers (e.g., investigating how the system works) and are comfortable reading tech documentation and code.
• Plus: Experience with S3, Airflow, boto3, various SQL engines, or similar products.
• Plus: Experience with close collaboration with Data Science teams.
