Mercer is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst for their digital product team focused on workforce and HR solutions. You will be supporting the Job Solutions Platform, a strategic SaaS product designed to modernize workforce planning and organizational design. The platform uses advanced AI to automate complex HR processes like job evaluation and content creation. Your work will contribute to improving usability, accuracy, and efficiency for both Mercer consultants and external clients. This role requires someone skilled in translating complex business needs into actionable requirements and thriving in an agile product environment.
Must have:
  • 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work independently
  • Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency
Good to have:
  • Experience in HR, people management, or compensation domains
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Miro, Figma
  • Exposure to UX concepts or data analysis

**Contract Duration: 6+ months (with possible extension based on performance)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join a digital product team focused on workforce and HR solutions.

You will be supporting the Job Solutions Platform, a strategic SaaS product designed to modernize workforce planning and organizational design. The platform combines job matching, grading, and description generation, using advanced AI to automate and simplify complex HR processes like job evaluation and content creation. Your work will directly contribute to improving usability, accuracy, and efficiency for both Mercer consultants and external clients.

This role is ideal for someone skilled in translating complex business needs into structured, actionable requirements and who thrives in a cross-functional, agile product environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to elicit, define, and document business and functional requirements

  • Collaborate with UX designers to clarify requirements and support them in design creation process

  • Analyze existing processes and suggest improvements aligned with business objectives

  • Create clear and concise documentation, including user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and wireframes (where applicable)

  • Bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders

  • Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and ongoing product development cycles

  • Assist in testing and validation of developed features to ensure alignment with requirements

  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and product documentation initiatives

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a digital product or software development environment

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

  • Proven experience in business and functional requirement gathering and documentation

  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities

  • Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple priorities

  • Upper-intermediate or higher level of English (both written and spoken)

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in the HR, people management, or compensation domains

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, DevOps Azure, Miro, Figma or similar

  • Exposure to user experience (UX) concepts and/or data analysis
