The Business Controller will be a key financial partner, providing analysis, insights, and strategic advice to support data-backed decisions. This role involves participating in forecasting and budgeting, performing closing and reporting, and ensuring clear and accurate financial reporting to SEGA, the leadership team, and internal stakeholders. The position ensures the Games Finance team effectively supports the business by enabling informed decisions, fulfilling group reporting obligations, and keeping leadership aligned on financial performance. We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Business Controller to join our Games Finance team. In this role, you’ll be a key financial partner to the business providing analysis, insights, and strategic advice that support smart, data-backed decisions. You’ll participate in forecasting and budgeting, perform closing and reporting, and ensure that Rovio’s financial story is delivered clearly and accurately to SEGA, our leadership team and other internal stakeholders.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring the Games Finance team runs smoothly and effectively supports the business across three key areas: enabling game teams to make informed decisions, fulfilling our group reporting obligations, and keeping Rovio leadership aligned on financial performance.
We’d love for you to be interested in gaming: you don't have to have 3 stars on every level in Angry Birds Classic, have found all shrines in Zelda or love the Alan Wakes, but we definitely see it as an advantage.
This role is based at our Espoo office, where our team has found on-site collaboration to be the most effective. That said, we’re flexible, and occasional remote work is totally fine. Please note that relocation support is not provided for this role.
