The Business Development Representative will prospect into targeted Mid-Market accounts to increase the productivity of Autodesk’s sales teams by identifying high-potential revenue opportunities. This role involves collaborating with Demand Generation and Account Sales Executives, leveraging outbound technologies to evangelize Autodesk solutions, identifying target markets, developing leads, and managing a database in Salesforce.com. The BDR will also map key stakeholders and technical requirements, and drive additional revenue opportunities.
Must have:
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation and Account Sales Executives to build a qualified pipeline of customers.
  • Prospect customers by leveraging outbound medium technologies to evangelize Autodesk solutions.
  • Identify target markets, develop leads and directly prospect into those accounts.
  • Transition qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Sales Executives.
  • Manage a database of leads in Salesforce.com.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in enterprise or B2B solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS, Cloud, and enterprise IT solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and business English.

Position Overview

BDR(Business Development Representative) will prospect into targeted accounts to increase productivity of Autodesk’s sales teams by identifying high potential revenue opportunities with well-qualified prospects. This role will interact with clients of all levels, in a variety of industries and across a broad geographical area. This role will not close the sale.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Demand Generation and Account Sales Executives to build a qualified pipeline of customers
  • Prospect customers by leveraging outbound medium technologies to evangelize Autodesk solutions
  • Identify target markets, develop leads and directly prospect into those accounts
  • Transition qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Sales Executives
  • Map key stakeholders, technical requirements and business process on all deals
  • Drive additional revenue opportunities by applying incremental programs or projects initiated by sales management
  • Manage a database of leads in Salesforce.com, efficiently processing all opportunities, tracking, reporting and maintaining them until they are established in the sales pipeline
  • Proficient in identifying key decision makers in other organizations within the accounts to find additional sales opportunities
  • Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks
  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations
  • Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in enterprise or B2B solutions

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
