The Analytics team at LSEG is seeking a C# Analytics Software Developer to join their team of about twenty financial and software engineers. The role involves developing, improving, and supporting quantitative analytics offerings on the Cloud for the financial industry. The responsibilities include integrating, debugging, solving, and upgrading analytics services; developing algorithms; creating tools and applications; integrating software components; and writing documentation. The company values creativity and problem-solving and supports career advancement. The role is described as hybrid.
Must have:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronics / Electrical Engineering
  • Good knowledge of C# or equivalent
  • 3 years+ experience in a quantitative or software development role applied to finance with significant knowledge of at least one financial instrument.

ROLE SUMMARY:

  • You will integrate a team of about twenty financial and software engineers and will develop, improve and support our quantitative analytics offering on the Cloud.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Support clients and colleagues in integrating, debugging, solving and upgrading our analytics services.
  • Work with senior colleagues to craft development algorithms supporting financial industry specific workflows
  • Develop tools and applications, reviewing code submitted by peers and producing clean, efficient code
  • Integrate software components, quantitative libraries, models and third-party programmes
  • Verify and deploy programmes and systems
  • Write documentation for reference, reporting and system maintenance.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $102,300 - $170,500.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
