Mimecast is seeking a dynamic and strategic Channel Director to lead partner go-to-market initiatives in the UK and Ireland. This role focuses on accelerating growth through distribution, resellers, SIs, MSPs, and MSSPs, while addressing human risk in cybersecurity. The director will design and execute a channel growth strategy, build relationships with top-tier partners, lead a team of Partner Managers, collaborate with internal departments, and serve as a thought leader in the cybersecurity ecosystem. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, partner engagement, team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and thought leadership. The ideal candidate will have senior leadership experience in channel sales within SaaS or cybersecurity, a strong understanding of human risk factors, a proven ability to lead teams, and experience building scalable partner ecosystems.

We're looking for a dynamic, strategic, and people-driven Channel Director to spearhead our partner go-to-market initiatives across the UK and Ireland.   • You'll collaborate with cross-functional leaders, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, with direct visibility from our VP of EMEA Partners and UKI Sales Leadership.
  • Most importantly, you’ll shape how companies think about and act on human risk.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership

Design and deliver an ambitious channel growth strategy for the UKI region, focusing on scale, enablement, and partner success.

Partner Engagement

Build lasting relationships with top-tier partners. Be their trusted advisor by aligning Mimecast’s solutions with their business models and goals.

Team Leadership

Inspire and guide a team of Partner Managers and virtual contributors. Mentor, motivate, and create a winning culture of performance and impact.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Unite internal teams to drive high-impact channel initiatives. Ensure alignment on messaging, execution, and innovation.

Thought Leadership

Be the voice of Mimecast in the partner ecosystem. Speak at industry events, lead discussions, and share insights on the future of cybersecurity and human risk.

What You’ll Bring

  • Senior leadership experience in channel sales within a fast-paced SaaS or cybersecurity environment
  • Strong grasp of human risk factors in security – from phishing to insider threats
  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence across matrixed organizations
  • Track record of building scalable partner ecosystems and driving net-new business growth
  • Experience with Salesforce and modern GTM tools
  • Passion for mentoring, coaching, and empowering teams
  • Comfort navigating across enterprise and mid-market segments
  • Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland to support partners and events
