Apple is seeking a Clinical Product Manager to lead the end-to-end development of health products, collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role involves driving multi-year vision, product roadmaps, and feature prioritization, leveraging emerging technologies for novel health opportunities. The ideal candidate will define product requirements, balance clinical impact with user experience, and drive concept approvals. They will also define success metrics, monitor health tech trends, consult on clinical validation and regulatory pathways, and manage stakeholder expectations. This position requires a strategic leader dedicated to improving healthcare through innovative digital consumer features.
Must have:
  • Drive alignment on multi-year vision, product roadmaps, and feature prioritization.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of current and emerging technologies.
  • Partner with clinicians, design, and engineering to define product requirements.
  • Drive feature concept approvals across various stakeholders.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs.
  • Leverage performance metrics and user feedback to inform product strategy.
  • Monitor and provide briefings on emerging health tech opportunities.
  • Consult on clinical validation, technical feasibility, human factors studies, and regulatory pathways.
  • Manage expectations of internal and external collaborators.
  • Regularly brief executives on portfolio health and product development progress.
  • Support pre and post-launch activities in collaboration with marketing and medical affairs teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, science, or business.
  • 10+ years experience building digital consumer products.
  • At least 5 years experience in Product Management.
  • Consistent track record of defining successful feature concepts.
  • Driving product development from concept to launch.
  • Keen eye for building delightful user experiences.
  • Takes initiative, exhibits high accountability, and makes sound decisions under uncertainty.
  • Stellar interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and build consensus.
  • Polished communicator with strong executive presence.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  • Willingness and ability to flex between strategic thinking and tactical execution.
Good to have:
  • 12+ years of product development experience in the health care space, preferably in regulated medical devices and/or digital health products
  • 2+ years serving as the lead Product Manager in a multi-PM organization
  • Familiarity with machine learning, algorithm development, and the application of generative AI in product experiences
  • Experience collaborating with hardware teams to define or refine sensing technologies

As part of the Clinical Products team, we are looking for a Clinical Product Manager to serve as a strategic leader — guiding the end-to-end development of health products, in partnership with key cross-functional partners.

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of both current and emerging technologies — connecting technical capabilities with novel health opportunities
  • Partner with clinicians, design, and engineering to define product requirements — balancing clinical impact with user experience and technical feasibility
  • Drive feature concept approvals across various stakeholders
  • Define success metrics and KPIs
  • Leverage performance metrics and user feedback to inform product strategy and feature prioritization
  • Monitor and provide briefings on emerging health tech opportunities, consumer insights, and product landscape
  • Consult on clinical validation, technical feasibility, and human factors studies, as well as regulatory pathways and submissions
  • Manage expectations of a diverse group of internal and external collaborators, negotiating trade-offs and quickly resolving conflicts
  • Regularly brief executives on portfolio health, product development progress, and key risks or blockers
  • Support pre and post-launch activities in collaboration with marketing and medical affairs teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, science, business or equivalent field
  • 10+ years of experience building digital consumer products, with at least 5 years of experience in Product Management
  • Consistent track record of defining successful feature concepts and driving product development from concept to launch
  • A keen eye for building user experiences that are delightful while delivering impact
  • Takes initiative, exhibits a high level of accountability, and makes sound decisions under uncertainty
  • Stellar interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at all levels
  • A polished communicator with strong executive presence
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills, with the willingness and ability to flex between strategic thinking and tactical execution throughout the day

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of product development experience in the health care space, preferably in regulated medical devices and/or digital health products
  • 2+ years serving as the lead Product Manager in a multi-PM organization
  • Familiarity with machine learning, algorithm development, and the application of generative AI in product experiences
  • Experience collaborating with hardware teams to define or refine sensing technologies

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $203,300 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
