Good To Have:

Must Have:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Design.
  • Basic proficiency in writing C and Python scripts.
  • Completed basic circuit design, signal processing, and communication courses.
  • Familiarity with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and network analyzers.
  • Ability to perform minimum Physical, Cognitive, and Environmental job requirements.

Are you interested in an COOP opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (MS) degree to participate in 6 month paid COOP opportunities at our site in Orlando. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

Your role:

• Support development of FPGA designs for linear and non linear filtering

• Write VHDL code to implement filtering algorithms

• Write VHDL directed and self checking testbenches and run simulations to verify designs

• Use and write Python scripts for data processing and modelling of filtering algorithms

• Implement code on FPGA HW in the lab, gather and process data using logic analyzers to validate modelling and implementation.

You're the right fit if:

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Design and research interest
  • Previous internship experience, preferred
  • Basic proficiency with of engineering SW tools (Matlab, LabView preferred), writing C and Python script
  • Must have completed basic circuit design, signal processing and communication courses

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $29.00 to $40.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
